Privacy Policy

Barrs Land is a trade name of Principle Centered Investments, Inc., a licensed Georgia real estate brokerage. This policy explains what we collect when you use barrsland.com or contact us, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than the usual wall of defined terms.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit an inquiry form, call, or text us, we collect your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, the property you asked about, and whatever you write in your message.

Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from, and whether a visit led to a call, text, email, or inquiry. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and receives your IP address and basic device and browser information. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization, so this data is not used to advertise to you. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking cookies. Our maps are served by Mapbox, which receives your IP address in order to deliver map tiles, as any map provider must.

Advertising. We work with an outside marketing firm to advertise some of our properties. Through Google Tag Manager, that firm may place advertising cookies and pixels on this site to measure whether our ads lead to visits, calls, and inquiries, and to show our ads to people who have visited. These tools receive your IP address, device and browser information, and the pages you view. They do not receive what you type into our inquiry form. You can limit ad tracking through your browser settings, your device's advertising settings, or optout.aboutads.info.

We do not sell your information to anyone.

What we do with it

We use your information to answer your inquiry, send you information about property you asked about, and keep a record of our conversation so the next person you talk to here knows what you have already been told. Inquiries are stored in our customer records system, which is access controlled.

We keep inquiry records for as long as we are working with you and for a reasonable period afterward, since land purchases are slow and a buyer who passes on one tract often comes back for another.

Text messaging

If you give us your mobile number and agree to be contacted by text, we may text you about the property you asked about. Messages come from a real person at Barrs Land, not an automated marketing system. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Consenting to text messages is optional. It is never a condition of submitting an inquiry, receiving property information, or buying anything from us.

Who else sees your information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the site and respond to you — our website host, our customer records system, our email provider, and our business phone and messaging provider. They are permitted to use it only to provide that service to us. As stated above, text messaging consent is never shared with any of them for marketing purposes, and never with anyone for resale.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to enforce our agreements or protect someone's safety. If we are ever involved in a sale or merger of the business, records may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

Your choices

• Stop texts — reply STOP to any message from us.
• Stop emails — reply and tell us, or use the unsubscribe link on anything we send.
• See or delete your record — email us and we will send you what we hold or delete it, subject to any records we are required to retain as a licensed brokerage.

Children

This site is meant for adults buying real property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
